Stories in <em><a href=\"http:\/\/www.cardiologytoday.com\/view.aspx?rID=59923\">Cardiology Today<\/a><\/em>, <em><a href=\"http:\/\/www.theheart.org\/article\/1038925.do\">Heartwire<\/a><\/em>, <em><a href=\"http:\/\/www.medpagetoday.com\/Cardiology\/CHF\/17896\">MedPage Today<\/a>.<\/em><br \/>\n<em><\/em>A <a href=\"http:\/\/jama.ama-assn.org\/cgi\/content\/short\/303\/2\/150?home\">preliminary report in <em>JAMA<\/em><\/a><em><\/em> found that people who had one CETP variant were less likely to experience memory decline and had a lower risk for developing dementia or Alzheimer&#8217;s disease.<\/p>\n<p><em><\/em><br \/>\nA <a href=\"http:\/\/archneur.ama-assn.org\/cgi\/content\/abstract\/67\/1\/87\">study in the <em>Archives of Neurology<\/em><\/a><em><\/em><em><\/em> by James Noble and colleagues found that high CRP may be a marker of memory and visuospatial impairment.
