At the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.americanheart.org\/presenter.jhtml?identifier=3057022\">AHA&#8217;s Arteriosclerosis, Thrombosis and Vascular Biology Annual Conference now underway in San Francisco<\/a>, Stephen McIlhenny reported on <a href=\"http:\/\/aha.scientificposters.com\/atvb\/epsAbstractATVB.cfm?id=1\">the successful in vivo test of grafts<\/a> created from adult adipose-derived stem cells that were attached to the lumen of decellularized vein scaffolds. \u201cThe significant finding is that we can build a blood vessel from donor tissue and an animal\u2019s own adult stem cells.
