The report by Richard Pratley and colleagues on more than 600 patients enrolled in the parallel-group, open-label trial appears in the <em><\/em><em><\/em><a href=\"http:\/\/www.thelancet.com\/journals\/lancet\/article\/PIIS0140-6736%2810%2960307-8\/fulltext\"><em>Lancet<\/em><\/a>. Liraglutide also resulted in greater weight loss.
