And, how far do we take it?\u00a0Should\u00a0the patient have the prerogative to insist on this\u00a0\u2014 but only for surgeries or other invasive procedures?\u00a0What about an in-office evaluation?\u00a0Or reading an echocardiogram? What parameters are appropriate and what approaches have you found to be successful \u2014 or not\u00a0\u2014 in communicating with the patient who is reluctant to allow the involvement of a fellow?<\/span><\/p>\n<p>We are interested in <span style=\"color: #000000;\">hearing from both fellows and<\/span> attendings about this issue.
