Read the next post <a href=\"http:\/\/blogs.nejm.org\/cardioexchange\/fellowship-training\/statistical-pitfalls-the-onus-is-on-us-to-look-at-the-evidence\/\">here<\/a>.<br \/>\n<\/em><\/p>\n<p>My two posters are done, and now on to a full day of sessions.<\/p>\n<p>One of the great things about presenting a poster is meeting the other folks in your section &#8212; mine is <a href=\"http:\/\/www.abstractsonline.com\/Plan\/ViewSession.aspx?mID=1668&amp;sKey=90095b9f-622a-4fe4-a9b0-2a812b1884a2&amp;mKey={86D3D797-1DEA-4B4D-A5C5-A402B3E95F8C}\">Outcomes Research<\/a>. The relationships were formed over the shared experience of putting up the bulky evidence of our hard work, and the expression of heartfelt interest is very welcome.<\/p>\n<p>Fun to read <a href=\"http:\/\/blogs.nejm.org\/cardioexchange\/fellowship-training\/the-pie-ing-game-how-do-we-carve-up-shrinking-reimbursements\/\">Sandeep&#8217;s health policy piece<\/a>. There are such diverse offerings at ACC &#8212; which I had traditionally viewed as a straightforward science meeting &#8212;\u00a0that there is truly something for everyone. The education component is particularly strong this year, thanks to Dr. Nishimura and Dr. O&#8217;Gara.<\/p>\n<p>Starting at noon, I&#8217;ll be interviewing fellows for the <a href=\"http:\/\/cardiosource.org\/fit\">ACC FIT blog<\/a>.\u00a0 The push to get us involved this year seems to have paid off, as there is a big fellow presence. <a href=\"http:\/\/www.abstractsonline.com\/Plan\/ViewSession.aspx?mID=1668&amp;sKey=fb0f7362-a972-4af9-af23-7f2be149d9f0&amp;mKey={86D3D797-1DEA-4B4D-A5C5-A402B3E95F8C}\">Fellows&#8217; Bootcamps<\/a> today are packed.
