The Fellows include\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/blogs.nejm.org\/cardioexchange\/members\/tariqahmad627\/\">Tariq Ahmad<\/a>,\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/blogs.nejm.org\/cardioexchange\/members\/revathibalakrishnan378\/\">Reva Balakrishnan<\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/blogs.nejm.org\/cardioexchange\/members\/megancoylewright\/\">Megan Coylewright<\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/blogs.nejm.org\/cardioexchange\/members\/eimanjahangir542\/\">Eiman Jahangir<\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/blogs.nejm.org\/cardioexchange\/members\/amitshah\/\">Amit Shah<\/a>, and\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/blogs.nejm.org\/cardioexchange\/members\/johnryan\/\">John Ryan<\/a>\u00a0(moderator). Sometimes, though,\u00a0wandering into the colorful room full of distractions from the main event can be unavoidable .<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/blogs.nejm.org\/cardioexchange\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/7\/2012\/11\/Reva.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft size-medium wp-image-32803\" title=\"Reva\" src=\"http:\/\/blogs.nejm.org\/cardioexchange\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/7\/2012\/11\/Reva-239x300.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"239\" height=\"300\" \/><\/a>Therefore, friends and I entered the Expo room at AHA.12 with a discerning eye, gaining little educational value but walking away with some laughs instead. One of my cofellows tested her chest compression skills (and found out &#8212; way too fast!). Amusingly, some booths were not successful in their marketing strategy (see picture). Even at the fellow level, I&#8217;d hope you wouldn&#8217;t need a special stethoscope to hear S1 and S2! \u00a0<\/p>\n<p>So, similar to the previous year,\u00a0I found little value in the Expo floor except for some laughs.
