Wear a suit! Definitely wear a suit, unless you&#8217;re prepared to stand out!<\/li>\n<li>Early career folks should go to the early career sessions &amp; reception.<\/li>\n<li>Go to the Opening Session and Presidential Address\u2014it is always pretty inspiring.<\/li>\n<li>Go to your friends&#8217; talks\u2014they appreciate the support.<\/li>\n<li>Go to the poster sessions\u2014that is where the magic is.<\/li>\n<li>Don\u2019t go to your Chief\u2019s talk- you hear them speak enough at home #no_disrepect #new_frontiers.<\/li>\n<li>Go into a random room that you know nothing about\u2014you will learn the most there.<\/li>\n<li>Say hello to people you used to work with. It\u2019s always worthwhile.<\/li>\n<li>If you see your cardiovascular hero standing by themselves, introduce yourself.<\/li>\n<li>Review your slides in the Speaker Ready Room before you talk.<\/li>\n<li>Tell those back at work &amp; at home what you learned and saw at AHA.<\/li>\n<li>There\u2019s more to Chicago than #AHA14. Go check it out.<\/li>\n<li>Exercise for 30 minutes every day while at AHA\u2014it is an AHA recommendation after all.<\/li>\n<li>Go to your councils dinner\u2014if you don\u2019t have a ticket, just ask the council chair to pay #networking_is_why<\/li>\n<li>Find the room where you are giving your talk an hour before you are to give the talk\u2014you don\u2019t want to be struggling to find <b><i>S401bcd<\/i><\/b> 5 minutes before your talk.<\/li>\n<li>Take off your lanyard\/nametag when you go out in the evening.<\/li>\n<li>Don\u2019t lose your lanyard\/nametag when you go out in the evening.<\/li>\n<li>\u201cHave fun, enjoy yourself\u2014it\u2019s a great time\u201d.
