Thank you Paul for reminding us to remember to reflect on and appreciate the good news that risks being forgotten amongst the onslaught of the bad!

Thanks as always, Paul. Always lots to be grateful for, there really is. And we are. Including the lives of those we have lost. As for the heartless brainless tin scarecrows, it must be awful to be them. So there’s that.

Thank you, Paul, for your thoughtful and encouraging message. This year, more than ever, we need reminders that good news can indeed come from the USA.

My students will be grateful that dalbavancin does not end in “mycin” or “micin”. And neither does its brand name.

I am a retired cardiologist who has always considered himself an internist first (I ran an internal medicine residency training program in NYC for almost 10 years in the 1990’s and lived though the initial AIDS epidemic first hand as a resident). What is happening now at the CDC and DHHS is an abomination. Which is precisely why we need people like you Dr Sax to continue to shine a light on the ‘true’ way forward. Never give up, never surrender.
    Happy Thanksgiving.
